By integrating a small-interface electronic board into the valve, the power consumption, input voltage, and operating temperatures are reduced.

Upon the introduction of power, the driver allows full current to the valve during a time called "Pull-in." After "Pull-in," amperage is reduced by 66% of normal valve amperage requirements. With this integration of the TIR E-Chip™, coil discharge that causes reverse voltage also becomes less of an issue.
